Depending on the stressed features , we can classify them in compression spring , extension spring , curve spring and torsion spring.

Clockwork spring is also called coil spring , it is made by rolling a steel tape from a special machine, depending on the product feature

The way to clean spring in different apparent condition,

Dust and the dirty which is easy to get rid of---use soap , weak lotion or warm water to wash;

Label and membrane---use warm water or weak lotion to wash;

Binder---use alcohol or  organic solvent to wash;

Fat ,oil,lubricating oil polluted------use soft fabric or paper to dry up then wash with neutral detergent , ammonia solution, or special washing drug.

Decolorizer and acid polluted-----use water to wash immediately, put them into ammonia water  or soda water for a while, then wash with neutral detergent or warm water;

The organic carbon polluted----put into hot neutral detergent or ammonia water and then wash with detergent which contains weak abrasive.

Finger print---use alcohol or organic solvent (like diethyl ether, benzene),clean with soft fabric then wash with water;

Rainbow shadow---may cause by oil or using detergent, wash with warm water and neutral detergent;

Welding heat changes the color---use 10% nitric acid or hydrofluoric acid to wash,then put them in ammonia solution or soda water for a while, lastly,wash with water.
Water is used for  cleaning washing drug.

The pollutant on surface stain---use 10% nitric acid or abrasive detergent----use special washing drug.
